There are lots of fauna and flora that have Cape in the name but are found all over South Africa and I have a lot of those little geckos at my place. They are also hunted by Rain spiders and my cats make

We call the makers of the salivary houses Spittlebugs and they are larvae

Could just be hormones, that takes a few weeks and a form of cat PTSD from living as a stray and within a few a months he'll be a different kitty. Perhaps keep him separated for longer to avoid negative

Oops! Maybe talk to the vet about calming meds? How has he responded to the other cats?

What can I say, I am just a mixed up collection of wanderers, fortune seekers, doctors and African slaves, like many other of my other "European" countrymen. Christmas feels ridiculous, the customs

None, it's not a thing here. I like the plastic pumpkin arch

Animals bring gifts. Always. My kittens brought me some understanding too

What's interesting to me is that both parents were around and given family dynamics, it was clear that he had the bad badge. It was only later when I started to understand how much worse my mother was

So true!

Never!

She always knew that she was queen

Went through this with my father. My mother is work in progress

Yes! I hope that evil empire collapses soon, the signs are there

The queen is regal and kind!

I really wish Ukraine's nightmare could be over soon

So much facepalming, I don't know how that didn't end out worse.

Love this! acceptance is seeing the light and the shadows and where they fit

I'm still amazed that this all ended well for the kitten. When it comes to physical pain, you will discover that you have become stronger from the exercise whereas I should just stop being so careless

Okay! A bird in the hand... Still holding thumbs for your house sale

Not even a tree? Ask Jamie to build you something?
