If they are a normal art of the ecosystem, I wouldn't worry. Also, caterpillars that eat all the leaves later in the season do less damage than those that destroy buds and developing leaves. We have species

Lovely! Your bottom bug is a nymph so it's not easy to identify at this stage, many hemiptera look the same as nymphs

CDs work pretty well for birds although when it comes to rodents, only cats or a resident snake really work

An interesting set of pictures and I like the old colonial buildings. Our urban history is much more recent. The decay reminds my of my city although it's much dirtier here
