This is the view from the upper crenellations of the Chlemoutsi Castle.
As you can see, it is strategically placed on a hill, were you can see the entire Elia region and part of the Ionian sea.
Fun fact: the actual name when it was built was "Chateau Clermont".
But to the uneducated Greeks it sounded like "Chlomouts"! Thus the name Chlemoutsi now...
