That's what you get if you are a good guy. Or a good customer. Or both!!!
A new shop opened near our office. He makes waffles, donuts, pancakes and sweets in general.
Now, if you don't sell coffee, at least in the morning, you will not make it. And he did. But it was a bit pricey at first.
When I went there to buy coffee, he saw me gazing at the donuts. Maybe he figured I like sweets, maybe he appreciated the fact that I was one of his first customers in the neighborhood, or the fact that I kept going there.
I don't know what happened but when I went again today, instead of starting making me my coffee, I saw him preparing donuts.
I thought it was funny that he didn't pay attention to me... But, ok, let him do his work... I have time.
And then.... My coffee was ready but I was "pinned" to the box of donuts... And then he surprised me!!!
"Here is your coffee and some donuts to go along with it".
I started drooling!!! I thanked him for the donuts and for making my day!!!
