There's less than two hours left of 2020. so I guess it's time to say goodbye to this crazy year.

Looking back at the beginning of 2020. and all the excitement, motivation and 'this is going to be MY year' statements (this includes me as well) and how 2020. decided to kick our butts and turn our lives upside down, I am happy that we made it through this sh*tshow and can close this chapter for good. I know that everything won't magically fix itself at midnight but I feel like we can enter 2021. prepared and keep in mind all the lessons we have learned this year.

It's kind of weird for me so say this but I have been feeling really, really good these days, I can even say I am happy which is something I haven't felt for a very long time. There's no specific reason and that kind of happiness is the greatest in my opinion. So with those vibes, I have decided to make my own stay at home NYE party! I cleaned my room today, made some cookies, washed my hair, painted my nails and even did make up for the first time in weeks. I also decided to put on this shirt I got at the second hand store but didn't have a chance to wear. Of course, music is a must, I already had my K-pop playlist ready and a bottle of blackberry wine to raise my glass to 2021. :)

In 2021. I wish you all good health, success, inner peace and balance in life, a lot of joy and happiness, lovely people, pure and honest relationships... I also wish for more kindness and compassion in the world, healing and good vibes. I guess none of us thought something like this could happen, not even in our wildest dreams and this just shows us how unpredictable life is and how things can change in less that a year. With this experience and lesson and with this fresh start on January 1st, I hope we can pick ourselves up and find a way to slay our goals, live our dreams and do our best!

I may or may not be on my third glass of wine so I guess it's better I wrap this post up and check in tomorrow with another post I have planned and want to write about.

How are you spending the last day/last few hours of 2020?

Happy 2021!!!
