It was about three years ago now, before all of my family got out of California (Im workin on it too). My dad was going to sell his motorhome, and wanted to use it one last time before he did. Just so happens this was the first and only time in our lives that our whole immediate family, and more, went camping together. My mom, dad, sister brother and myself. We also had my sister in law, three nephews and brother in law (close enough) as well.
It wasn't like real out there camping, but its a nice little spot with a lake called lake Morena.
My oldest nephew went fishing with my dad and sister while my two younger nephews stayed behind to build bow and arrows from branches ...and bungee cords they "found" in the back of my truck (sorry Lynette)
The rangers came by to say hi and gave them badge stickers.
My oldest nephew was the pride of the boat, bringing in the only catch of the day. My sister showed him how to prepare and cook it on the bbq. than how to season and eat it. Any other time he would have spit it out and complained, but because he caught it... "mmmm mmm that's so good, cant wait to go fishing again" Hooked, pun intended.
The next morning was the Easter egg hunt and Easter baskets for the kids. they had a blast, we a had a good time. it was a good family trip.
