In my blog today I'll be responding to the topic for the Weekly Featured Contest
Week 08:- Edition 03:-
"ONE SUPERPOWER"
Because we live in a world full of uncertainties of what could happen in the next seconds, I have longed craved to have the superpower of "precognition" Being a superhero with exceptional or extraordinary powers to predict and dictate what will happen in the future will make the popular saying "Tomorrow is pregnant" go into extinction. Yes! in our world today, we do our activities each day, go to bed, wake up the next day and continue from where we stopped without knowing what the future actually holds for us, predicting what the following day would look like will guide everyone on how to go about the day, don't you think so?
I've always wished to possess this superpower right from when I was a teenager. When I remember the choices I've made in the past that has in turn brought regrets in the present, I wish I had predicted what the turnout will be with my superpower. I wish I had foreseen what my future would look like those days I had to choose a career path, truly I would have long passed where I am now.
Now, How will i use this superpower to do something special?
I will use this superpower of mine to save lives
Imagine waking up the next day and a bad news gets to me that someone I saw yesterday died in a ghastly motor accident while going to work or doing some other activities, It really breaks my heart and to a point I so wish I could have saved such life with my prediction on the accident that happened, that way, the person would never have stepped a foot outside on this very day.
How about, people who search for jobs by all means and when they finally get employed, they are murdered by their fellow workers out of envy within few months. I will use my superpower to predict this ugly incident and I believe it will go a long way in saving such a soul from these inhumane fellows at his workplace. Also, a situation whereby a building is on fire or a building collapses with lots and lots of human beings inside, seeing that this will happen in the future, really I won't hesitate to use my superpower by informing people about what will happen in that building on that very day, this way lives that would have been lost will be saved.
Generally, with my superpower I will prevent anything that can cause harm or lead to loss of lives.
Predict chances of upvote for Hive bloggers
Funny right?
Very true! we blog for passion but I believe an upvote on each post we make no matter how little it may look would do. No doubts most Hive bloggers get discouraged with no upvote on an original post made with so much effort but we have become consistent regardless. We do not even know when the upvote luck will shine on us yet we make posts everyday, so If I am to use my superpower on the hive platform, I will predict whether a post would be upvoted or not, this way, most Hive bloggers will know when and when not to make a post and this would in turn make everyone happy馃槄
Tomorrow will never be pregnant again with my superpower because it will go a long way to save the world from uncertainties.
