The very first cash I made by myself can never be forgotten in a haste, the memories are still very fresh鈽猴笍 Infact, that very day happens to be one of the best days of my life as I was so proud of myself for coming up with such an idea and making some cool cash from it as well. By cool cash you might think I made some huge amount of money, hahaha! That was not the case at all for the very first cash I made as all that mattered to me was the joy and fulfillment I got.

Back then as a boarding student during secondary school days, I had this very good friend of mine whom her parents never missed to get her some fresh homemade zobo drinks during visiting days. And as her close friend, I always got like 2 or 3 bottles of this rich and nourishing zobo drinks every visiting day, this made me to always look forward to another visiting day. So one day, I asked her to know how her mum made such tasty zobo drinks. She wrote down the whole steps for me, more like she gave me her mum's receip茅 cus she had also learnt from her mum. I studied the steps she gave me like I was studying for an exam so I could try it out during the holidays. Finally, the mid-term holiday came and I was able to get the whole ingredients needed to make my zobo drink with the remaining pocket I saved up in school.

I made the zobo drink and it came out so nice beyond my imagination. I gathered some plastic water bottles that we had in the house to pour in the zobo drink and the drink could only contain 20 of the plastic bottles and afterwards I put them in the fridge for it to get chilled. The drink is enjoyed when it's served chilled.. Mum had a taste of it and was so surprised that I made such a tasty drink and even asked where I learnt how to make it, because she never taught me how to make the drink馃槂

Initially, the intention I had was to make the drink for my family alone but the idea of earning from it came to me when I visited my mum's pharmacy and discovered that it is necessary that patients who couldn't eat food at home find something to eat first before taking their drugs. These patients got some junks like snacks and drinks from a nearby shop so they could eat before they take their drugs and for this day that I happened to be at the pharmacy, I counted the amount of money that I would have made for that day from my drink if it were available for the patients to buy.

Getting home, I checked the fridge and found out we still had 12 bottles left, the following morning as my mum was preparing to leave the pharmacy, I quickly dressed up to follow her, I put 10 bottles of the drink in a cooler with some ice blocks in it to keep them cold. When we got there, I quickly wrote a stylish letter note "BUY YOUR SWEET ZOBO DRINKS" on a white piece of paper and pasted it on the body of the cooler with a paper tape. I sold each bottle for N50 and before I knew it, I sold all the drinks to the patients before noon. I was so excited that I was able to come with such idea, who would have thought? Mum was so was so proud of me for coming up with such an idea because it never crossed her mind.

I was a teenager when I made my first cash from selling the Zobo drinks I made for family consumption. And I made N500 from selling 10 bottles of the drink at N50 each. No matter how little the money seemed, the joy was nothing compared to none鈽猴笍
