Hello, everybody! I hope you are feeling very well, here is another illustration I made a few days ago. Lately I've been having difficulties to raise interesting topics for my drawings, I haven't felt very inspired and that frustrates me a little (I feel that it also limits me) when I start sketching. Based on that, I decided to make a mental list of the things I like and, from there, I would choose something to be inspired by. Among these things, the cactus stands out in a great way; anyone close to me will know the charm I have towards them. So why not incorporate them into my drawing? That's how the idea came about.
When I sketched this girl, I wanted her to have a very sweet face, with a very friendly expression, of a youthful and flirtatious character. I applied a touch of blue on her eyelids to highlight the light brown color of her eyes. Also, the cinnamon shade of her skin in contrast with the reddish color of her hair is a combination that usually doesn't have so much prominence given the similarity of tones, however, the light reflections and waves in her hair, make it work, in my opinion.

Drawing materials:
-Sheet of bristol paper.
-Derwent watercolor creations.
-Watercolors.
I find myself trying (or experimenting) with different character designs until I find a style that pleases me completely; this is how sometimes I draw characters with large eyes in comparison with the nose and mouth, or all the parts of their face have a more or less similar proportion (taking into account that they are caricatured, not realistic illustrations)...
I try to plan up to the smallest detail in the composition of my drawings: to use many colors according to the theme and that each one stands out according to the point where it is applied; that the position of the objects does not compete (or interfere) with the characters as the center of attention... In short, I try very hard to present you with a good work, I hope you like it as much as I do.
