You are not able to offer what you do not have. You can not love if you do not know that you are first loved. Many take the Savior's words, to love one another, as a difficult task. Jesus did not give us this command to torment us or to consider us more holy if we do it. He showed us how to love. He showed us what love means and wants to follow His example. When he said to love each other, he said to be like Him.

Sinners felt good in His presence, not because they were encouraged to sin, but because they were accepted as they were, and eventually released. The prostitutes found a new identity in His presence, and, overwhelmed by His love; they gave up on living in sin. Thieves understood that they were created for a better purpose, and decided to give back what they had stolen.

All sinners felt loved in the presence of Jesus because He did not judge them. He loved them unconditionally. Even now, He loves sinners and wants to do it through us, His children. That's why he told us to love each other and love all people. He first loved us and filled our hearts with His love to be able to move on.

Don't say anymore that you can't love, just let Jesus fill your heart with his love! You are loved, and you are love!
