Hello everyone in this great community of pinmapple, this time I show you a spectacular place full of green nature in the middle of a peninsula.

When someone mentions the place: Varadero, we all think of the beautiful and peculiar beach it has, but few imagine that just 300 meters from the white sand is this green paradise: Josone Park, ideal for spending the day with the family. Located on the peninsula of hicacos, varadero, Cuba, it is one of the most visited places by tourists in that area.

This hacienda has always existed, but the plans did not appear in the municipality of Cárdenas, for the foundation of the varadero in 1887 it was announced that this hacienda belonged to Bernardo Carrillo, who after his death bequeathed this property to his descendants. After several years, this hacienda passed through several hands, until they came into the hands of a couple who founded the park with the first three letters of their names Jose and Onelia: Josone, in the name of their love. Curious fact: it is said that a tunnel on the property went straight to their piece of private beach, just for them.

This park currently has various recreational activities, when you enter you discover this amazing lake that you can enjoy through a boat ride, you can see ducks, squirrels and different species of birds in this place, it includes a train that goes around the entire park. In the tracer part of the place there is an open field, spectacular for picnics, games for children such as mini-golf, and recreational parks. A swimming pool was built with a club that is ideal for the summer atmosphere of the place.

In this park, the main homes were enabled to be converted into restaurants, the Dante restaurant, which specializes in Italian food, overlooks the lake and was the main home of the retreat. The El Retiro restaurant, specializing in Cuban Creole food, was the main house after the Casa Dante became a guest house, La Campana restaurant, was built inspired by a rustic cabin with American style, inside it has animal heads embalmed and placed on the wall.

This park is undoubtedly one of the most varied places I have visited, the vibes and the peace they transmit are unique. It is an ideal place to spend time with family and friends, with various recreational activities and a variety of restaurants that I can recommend all, especially the Dante restaurant.
