Hello everyone!
Me and my boyfriend went to a children’s party.
This is Ethan. He’s the son of our collegemate and friend Khrisna and Kevin. He just turned 1. Such a cute boy. 😍

When the children guests finally arrived, the program started. And like the other kids, I got excited too!
It’s been awhile since the last time I attended a children’s party. As expected, there was a clown. But he is not dressed and looked like a true clown. He’s also the mc. After the show, he said that he’s the Uncle of our friend Khrisna (Kevin said that Khrisna was so proud of her Uncle 😊)
And parties will not be complete without games! Because some of the kids are shy to participate, most of us (adults, yeah) are the ones who’s shouting the answers and giving the things for the kids to win prices. And there are times we got the correct answer and win the price, we just gave it to the other kids without prices yet.
I had so many laughs (hard laughs) at the puppet show.
When it’s time for the blowing of candle, parents went in front together with Ethan and we sang “happy birthday, Ethaaaaan..”
I am glad that these two, Khrisna & Kevin, ended up together. And now, they started their own family. Seeing them happy and proud, celebrating the life of their son, it made me feel proud also. 😊
Filipino parties, especially children’s party, will not be complete without the Pabitin. (There are stuffs attached to this pabitin. The celebrant is the first one to get, and then the others must jump in order to get something from the pabitin. Usually, the parents carry their kids so that it will be easy for them to get the price 😁)
And the last part, giving loot bags and souvenirs to the guests.
It was such a good party. Its been years also since the last time we saw each other. We just had few moments of conversation, talking about how's the life of each one of us. It’s been refreshing also to reminisce our memories way back in college. ❤️
