It's been a busy year on hive.
The plan doesn't change. Passive income and early retirement.
Build up a portfolio of crypto, land and assets that will generate enough income to sustain a normal lifestyle.
It won't happen this year but it's another step towards it as I work towards building strong positions in bitcoin, hive and leofinance among others.
Then we are hoping to buy a house in the next couple of years and get married. After that i can concentrate on picking up assets and land with any money that i can earn. Anything that will generate a return.
Money in the bank is money wasting away. Compounding your earnings and passive income are the way forward. Land is always a good investment in this country as it is a finite resource with a lot of use case and dwindling supply. Lots of ways to earn from having it. Some passive and some active. Depending on what way you want to go with it.
Building layers of investment over the next few years.
A lot of people make big promises on the first of January. Set unattainable goals and targets that quickly get forgotten.
Life isn't about making one big effort for a short space of time. It's a war of attrition. Turning up every single day and making an effort.
Making small gains every day and adding them all up every year.
If I commit to making two post a day for the year. Powering up 100K hive or becoming a millionaire how likely is that to happen. How likely am i to follow through with those big promises?
It's not going to happen.
So what's the point in trying to lie to myself and to others?
Instead I'm just going to keep turning up when i can and doing what i can. Commit as much time as i can spare without putting myself under pressure. That would take all of the enjoyment out of life.
Every time that i turn up and do something then it's a win. It's another bit of hive earned, another step forward and another inch closer to my end goal.
Achievable goals that i can work towards every day.
Same as every other year. The calendar turning over won't change anything.
