Experience and expertise is a sought after and saleable product. It doesn't matter how obscure the information or industry. If you can become an expert in it then you have a very valuable life skill.
If you set yourself up properly then you can build a career form it. In some industries such as medicine there is a large market for experts with more money in certain segments as people use their years of experience to consult across the world and earn some serious money.
People who don't have the expertise will always have to pay those who do. It's a fact of life.
If something goes wrong with my car. I can't fix it. I don't know where the problem is or even what those problems could be. That's why I go to a mechanic. If it's a complicated problem that he can't fix then the mechanic might have to sent it to a BMW expert. More money for me but sometimes it has to be done.
There are lots of mechanics who can service a car but there are very few who can diagnose a serious problem with the car. That's where the money is. That expert knowledge.
Medicine or mechanics are big areas with a lot of people working in them.
What if your passion is beanie babies??
What if you can recognize a real from a fake??
What if you know the current market values of each one?
Where is the best place to sell them?
What is the right time to do so?
Which beanies pair up or create more valuable sets??
Then you are in the minority and if i have a beanie baby collection to sell, I will want to get in contact with you. I watcha lot of the storage wars type programming and if they find a rare or interesting item. They call in the experts. If they found a box of beanie babies then you are the one to call.
Especially if it's a niche market like beanie babies. Then you are more valuable as there are less options for people seeking that knowledge.
There is a reason that everybody start calling when the markets rise. People are interested in getting involved and they need expertise. So where do they turn to?
Google? A stock broker? The local postman who bought some dogecoin last year and made 10%?
Or the friend who has been talking about crypto for the past 5 years.
Logs on daily.
Earns money from crypto.
Writes about it.
Lives it.
Wants to talk about it.
There is a reason that people come calling. They want your expertise as its very valuable.
Sure they could start at the very start like we all did. But thats not productive. I could get a friend set up with a hive account in minutes, delegage some hp and have them posting in under ten minutes. It took me two weeks to get that far.
That is the value of expertise.
In less than an hour i could have them buying hive form the markets, playing splinterlands and earning passive income form the diesel pools. that took me about six months.
If they want to earn 20% APR.
Invest in layer two coins.
Alpha on a new game.
Risky defi.
Avoid scams.
We already have most of this.
Then the next level of users can tell them how to set up tokens, tribes, code a game, build something new. Again, a higher level of expert.
And much more valuable.
Everything that you do in life has value but really living and breathing something can become so much more.
