I have big plans for the future. Plans that involve me enjoying my life not tied to a desk or tied to a company.
I want to be an important part of the local community. Train the youth teams. Fund community development. I want to add value to my area.
Every person in your life can be measured on a scales. The only real question that needs to be asked of anybody in your circle is whether they add or take away from your life.
That is the most important measurement and the whole basis for the scales. If they are taking away form your life by always taking or needing something then they are on the wrong side of the scale. Even for myself i would hope that i add to peoples lives rather than take away from it.
The same can be said for your community or your business. There are some people that add to it and some that take away form it. You always want to find those people that add more to the community than take away from it.
That is the sign of a healthy and thriving group of people. When they try to add value to their area rather than take away from it.
Value can be added in lots of little ways and will add up over time.
Take HIVE for example.
You don't need to add millions of liquidity to be vital part of the eco-system. You add what you have. Add comments, encouragement, ideas, time, effort.
Some people open an account on HIVE with the intention of taking money and wealth without adding anything back into the system. Those people are found out very fast and are very unwelcome. The same should be said for employees or friends. If their attitude is wrong then they need to go.
There is only space for the ones who are adding value with their actions.
When I get to that stage in life that i can sit down and reflect. I would like to htink that me scales are weighted down on the right side of the scales.
that i have added more than i have taken from life.
That i have been part of something bigger than it was before. HIVE is just one example of that but it goes for every part of life.
Now is the time to make money but how you choose to spend it going forward will be just as important. Will you buy a Ferrari or put a well into an impoverished village?
Buy a Rolex or fund a kids sports team? Hopefully i can do both but if it's a choice then it's an easy one for me. I want to be in that position that i can add value to others lives going forward and leave things just a little bit better.
