As an adult, I totally understand that everyone of us is quietly fighting a battle they don’t talk about. It could be anything at all but we still keep pushing. So, if someone is able to step out of their worries and comfort zone to show up for you in anyway, you should know that they really value you to go to such lengths for you and you owe them gratitude for that.
Gratitude is one world most people try to avoid today but then, what’s a world without gratitude? A world without gratitude is a world where no one feels appreciated and then no one shows up for the other anymore. A few days ago, a good friend of mine did something huge for me and I couldn’t do anything aside thank them, pray for them and think about how lucky I am to have them. Honestly, not many people have showed up like this for me before and having someone being there for me in times like this means a lot to me.
As much as we feel we do not show gratitude enough to others, when we get the chance, we should be able to let them know how grateful we are to them and also try to reciprocate the kindness they have shown us. It’s not good to always be at the receiving end as there’s more reward in giving that receiving. So, try to give back to others in your one little way no matter how small it is. You’d be surprised at how big it is to the other person. What goes around in this life, comes around. So let’s learn to be appreciative and show gratitude to others and always remember to give back as much as you can.
