Good Day my fellow steemians family....Its a beautiful day out here .The ringing tone of my phone with calls and messages woke me from a deep longggggg sleep i took last night due to the rain that fell throughout the night.!!!
Hmmmmmm.....The day is finally here, in the 1990s ,on this day,24TH of JUNE, A baby boy was born into the household of MR & MRS MUSTAPHA, his name is OMONIYI TAOFIQ.!!!
This baby was the first child of this household. Being the first child / first Son ,he enjoys alot of attention from his grandparents ,parents, uncles and even neighbours....He never lacked anything!!!
Growing up was fun ...he started crawling at the age of two and eventually started walking at the age of 3 ,the parents couldn't hide their joy, they had to enrol him in a school so that he can get a formal education!!!
Education seems so paramount to this young lad parents that they had to ensure he goes to one of best nursery school then,luckily for the boy he met great teachers at the school who taught him how to read and write!!!
Fast foward to the year 2003,he finishes his primary school at the age of nine years old and got admission into high School!!!
High School was an amazing experience for the young boy ,he met alot of people much more different from his background. In the year 2009, he finally graduate from high school!!!
After his graduation from high School,the dream of this young lad is to gain admisssion into college. He wants to become an architect!!!
Hmmmm....Gaining admission into the college to study Architecture is kinda competitive in this part of the world. He had to wait for two years. Alas! he eventually got admitted into college in 2011 to study Urban planning instead of Architecture!!!
This young boy was frustrated ,depressed due to ignorance that he was not given his dream course to study .Urban planning is a course of study that deals with the technical and political process concerned with the development and design of land use in an urban environment. After various advice from professional in the built environment ,i chose to resume college !!!
Resuming at the college ,going to an entirely different environment was big for this boy. He met different kinds of people ranging from the good ones to the bad ones!!!
Life at the college wasn't easy due to the nature of the course of study, doing various unending assignments ,drawings, architectural designs, sleepless nights to meet assignments deadlines!!!
All Glory to God the Almighty, he graduated as a professional URBAN PLANNER from college in the year 2016.He did his convocation in 2017 and did his one year mandatory NYSC from may 2017 -april 2018.
Its the Birthday of the baby turned boy and now turned Man today!!! I wish myself A happy Birthday.
Today I celebrate ME! The birth of Me! The person I have grown to be! The person I will become! The brother, son, friend, employee; I am! and the father I will be someday! I celebrate Me today# ALIAMDULLILAHI
