I assume all that is left is taste and smell before we can live almost our entire lives fully in Virtual Reality.

While this technology is very innovative and quite an incredible experience, I'm worried that with all of the constant fear-mongering that goes on in the news and social medias we will be convinced that the outside world is too dangerous (with all the random acts of terrorism and such...)
Some of humanity will soon prefer to experience everything virtually in the safety of their own home.
If you want to travel you simply experience it on your VR helmet instead of real life.
If you just want to take a walk through the woods you'll put on your suit and hop on your VR treadmill and BAM now your safely walking through the woods with out fear of being mauled by a bear or eaten alive by insects.
If you want to hang out with your friends, you will all simply suit up, and now you can connect to your own virtual lobby via the internet where you can go bowling, fishing, kickboxing, or whatever else you'd like.
