The book is not just his own experiences. It goes into detail about recorded cases throughout history. And it’s not just that book. There are so many people I personally know that have had supernatural visions, encounters and experiences of God personally speaking to them. I know at least 3 people who decided to follow Jesus after Jesus appeared to them in a vision or dream, including my wife.
