Not sure if im the only one but I have been attempting to download wallets from different coins and they all seem to be uploading the blockchain from the beginning of the coins existance. This kinda sucks for new people because some of these coins have been out for years and have millions of blocks. This causes new users to put the wallet on download and hope it goes through in a day or so.
I know im not the only one but something needs to be reconfigured to make the update and synchronization of these wallets to be less painful. Too many coins are riding on the back pf the bitcoin blockchain and with that we see ages of blocks to be updated and yet more time to update and connect. With all of the promoses of a better system I feel sowrking on the wallet connectivity and security must be the most vital part of reforming or rebuilding. Even if your new there needs to be a better set up than riding the coat tails. I know im not the only aggrivated
