Culture is the way of life.every tribe in nigeria have the way they do things, because tradition can never be forgotten.in my state Anambra,Awka to be precise, the traditional rights of a bride is been paid in 2stages.1)knocking at the door in the brides home town.2)traditonal marriage and killing of male fowl to the kinsmen by the husband of the bride.After paying all this traditional right,the groom and his kins men will now take the bride to their home.this is hw it is been done in my village umuogbu.
