Money, love and good character make marriage work.
Good day everyone, including the hiveghana crew for bringing up this interesting topic this week. This topic is really important to me because, considering my age, I am ripe for marriage and there are some factors I will consider before making the bold step toward marriage.
For me, both love and money are instrumental in the affairs of marriage. Marriage itself is a relationship and relationship is a job on its own too. To have a successful relationship, monetary commitment is necessary. Hence so many relationships have fallen apart because there was no money to undertake some responsibilities.
However, between money and love in marriage, love is what I hold in high esteem before money. Money is a secondary value when compared to love. With love, I am certain that my money is saved in the hands of my lover. With love, even money when it is finished, the relationship can continue. Love is the foundation of a healthy marriage. While money is the building block of marriage. All work together to serve a purpose.
Can a man without money marry?
This question popped into my mind while writing.
Everyman is qualified to get married no matter his situation. There is always someone for everyone hence a man without money can still find love and get married. This is because love cannot to some extent be bought with money even though it can be bought with money. Also, there's a natural love that springs from the heart of a person that even money cannot stand as a barrier to it. This is when money is not involved. A person without money can marry successfully because love covers all things.
Meanwhile, a man with lots of money can buy love and marry successfully. In this kind of marriage, the woman or the man is only in the marriage for monetary gains and grandeur; outside this, no marriage can take place. This type of marriage resolves whenever money finishes or when the other partner finds someone else who has more money. Therefore, it is dangerous to get into marriage because of money. It is also dangerous to marry for love only because love cannot give satisfaction to the hungry stomach.
In my case
Money and love play important roles but I pay more attention to love because true love does not take money into consideration. Another factor I consider in marriage is a person's character. I do not take a person's character for granted because everything rises and falls on character. A woman who disrespects a man can be a good wife to me. No matter how she might pretend, paying attention to the way she treats others speaks a lot about who she is. Good character will solidify the relationship and make it last longer. So in order of priorities, I will consider the following factors. Love, money and good character when considering marriage and With these factors in place, we're good to go in marriage and in everlasting union.
This is my submission to this week's activities.
