I would like to use this opportunity to introduce you to our efforts regarding the Internet of Food and Farm 2020 (IoF2020) platform, which focuses on the revolutionary potential of the Internet of Things (IoT) for the European food and farming sector. The project is funded by the Horizon2020 framework programme by the European Commission and aims to consolidate Europe's leading position in terms of innovative technologies applied to the agri-food sector. In the course of this we are identifying and reporting about the ability of innovations to respond to social, economic or environmental challenges.
