I have been in Bronze II for a while now learning the ropes, trying to work out card combinations, deciding if I was happy just cruising in Bronze or whether I would invest a bit, rent or buy certain cards or packs. Packs were hard to get before the recent chaos release and I didn't like the idea of renting as it felt like dead money and added pressure to play more. I ended buying a few cheap neutral monsters which seemed help increase my win ratio.
But a hand full of neutral monsters wasn't enough card points to get me out of Bronze II.
I use Creeping Ooze a lot. 1 mana cost is handy just to use all available mana and slow the other team down. Sand Worm and Goblin Mech are good in the bigger manna battles.
Next I bought Mylor he has a low mana cost and gives all melee attack thorns which is really help full in low mana battles. cost was about 12,000 dec or $35USD
It took me a while to save up but eventually I had enough recourses to get 8 chaos packs in presale 2. I found the whole presale stuff a bit confusing and could not really workout the best way to go about it all but it was a good learning experience transferring tokens and hive swap in the engine. I ended up with 8 chaos pack tokens but only open a pack when I get enough potions.
This was the latest pack I opened I seemed to get lucky with Fungus Fiend who's 0 mana is a helpful to my earth splinter battles.
My last season rewards in bronze II, Hopefully I can make Bronze I this season.
