It gets hot in Queensland. Keeping the house cool in summer has always been a challenge. Years ago, I bought and installed 3 of these cheap bunnings roof space vendors. They have been good over the years, helping trapped hot air out of the space between the ceiling and roof tiles.
It feels rare nowadays to have something work well for more than 20 years and still be in good working order. The recent installation of some solar panels meant I had to remove one of them. I had some spare time today, so I reinstalled it in a different place.
Sometimes, it is the simplest things that work the best. No motors, just the wind spinning the blades. It just wedges in under the top tiles and a few internal screw to keep the bottom from lifting up. They have been through some big storms and heavy rains. Hopefully, they will continue to work well for another 20 years.
Fitness wise, I did some more 400 metre intervals this morning before a quick dip in the pool. As usual the afternoon stroll helped build another decent activity count.
