The first thing I knew about Scotland as a kid was the kilt, I remember an argument my dad had with one of his friends and to butttess his points my dad mentioned the Scottish kilt saying that it is an example of a culture where men wear skirts and stuff😂
Then growing up I've watched Braveheart which was about William Wallace and I've watched another movie called Outlaw King which is about Robert Bruce. These movies led me to do my own research to find out what was real and what was fiction about those movies. I found out very little verifiable info is available about Wallace and most of the talk about him are myths and unverifiable stuff, but a lot is known about Bruce, he won against England and ended being a true hero King.
Then a stand-up comedy rendition by Trevor Noah led me to find out that the Scottish people have a reputation for being strong drinkers, they can drink strong alcoholic drinks and not get drunk and stuff, and they drink a lot in their culture😂 is this true?
