Breaking Bad carried this legacy on to Better Call Saul as well. That was an amazing series that once again, they could have dragged out for a lot longer if their only motivation was greed like so many other shows. I feel that almost all series end up self-destructing and destroying their legacy due to this greed. The producers of LOST did the same thing with another show that I believe was/is called "From". I could see right from the start that From was meant to go on for as long as people continued to watch it. I hated it.
