I don't think very many people actually thought that this movie was good. I think the only reason why I made it though was because I literally had nothing else going on that day. If I had the chance to make other plans I almost certainly would have done so and bailed on this film in the first half like you did.

They say that the 3rd or final act of a film is the most important and in this movie the final act was the stupidest. It didn't tie the rest of the film together, it was just nonsense. Like how did they even have any food for their really long boat trip? I get that superdad can engineer almost anything but wouldn't the ocean baddies take issue with them catching and killing fish to eat as well? It's just so tiresome and dumb.
