This was such a refreshing read after trying to watch this movie. Several people recommended it to me and I was pretty excited for it due to their high regards. I didn’t make it through the first time. Maybe a little more than halfway. Everything you talked about were the things that bothered me. Especially that actor. I forget what the opening scene of the film was but the minute he started talking and actually checked to see if I was watching an advertisement… no joke 😂

I finally forced myself to return a few nights later and watch the whole thing. I was hoping maybe the part of the film I hadn’t reached yet would somehow redeem the first 60 percent or so. Nah. Don’t understand why so many people thought this was good lmao
