Ejercicio de dibujo con manchas
I’m sharing a new exercise with stains. You know how much I enjoy doing these drawing exercises where, starting from colorful stains, I extract shapes and figures. Today I want to make some themed sheets and let imagination and creativity flow. For the drawing I’ll be using Ibis Paint and the default solid brush of the app. I’ll also share the sheets with the blank stains in case you feel inspired and want to make your own drawings.
Comparto nuevo ejercicio con manchas. Saben lo mucho que disfruto realizar estos ejercicios de dibujo donde, a partir de manchas de colores, extraigo formas y figuras. Hoy quiero hacer algunas hojas temáticas y dejar fluir la imaginación y la creatividad. Para el dibujo estaré usando Ibis Paint y el pincel sólido por defecto de la aplicación. Además, les compartiré las hojas con las manchas en blanco por si se inspiran y quieren hacer sus propios dibujos.
The first page will have flower themes, so I will draw a good collection of different flowers. It’s a fairly simple and effective theme that always works well with stain drawings. I drew daisies, peonies, roses, sunflowers, and small wildflowers in a bunch.
La primera página será con temáticas de flores, así que dibujaré una buena colección de flores distintas. Es una temática bastante simple y efectiva que siempre va bien con los dibujos sobre manchas. Dibujé margaritas, peonias, rosas, girasoles y pequeñas flores silvestres en un ramo.
Without a doubt, my favorite was this sunflower over the yellow stain. Sunflowers are very beautiful flowers.
Sin dudas, mi favorita fue este girasol sobre la mancha amarilla. Los girasoles son flores muy bonitas.
The second theme was animals, and that’s how a lion, an eagle, a tiger, a kind of strange giraffe (I forgot what giraffes looked like), and a goose appeared.
La segunda temática fue animales, y así aparecieron un león, un águila, un tigre, una especie de jirafa algo rara (olvidé cómo se veían las jirafas) y un ganso.
My favorite here was debated between the tiger and the lion. In the end, I leaned towards the tiger. I don’t know what you think.
Mi favorito aquí se discutía entre el tigre y el león. Al final terminé decantándome por el tigre. No sé qué opinan ustedes.
On the next sheet I wanted to draw people, specifically women, so inspired by the book Fun With A Pencil by Andrew Loomis and his drawing style, I made some quick sketches of how some girls’ faces would look with different shapes, hairstyles, and expressions. Staying within the stain was a challenge, so some faces look a bit twisted.
En la siguiente hoja quería dibujar personas, específicamente mujeres, así que inspirado en el libro Fun With A Pencil de Andrew Loomis y en su estilo de dibujo hice algunos bocetos rápidos de cómo se verían algunos rostros de chicas con distintas formas, peinados y expresiones. Mantenerme dentro de la mancha fue un reto, así que algunos rostros se ven algo torcidos.
When I was satisfied with the faces, I simply started making the lines of the drawing in a dark color and erasing the sketch. It was an entertaining exercise, and I recovered my knowledge from the time I was following the instructions of that book.
Cuando estuve satisfecho con los rostros, simplemente comencé a hacer las líneas del dibujo de color oscuro y a borrar el boceto. Fue un ejercicio entretenido y recuperé mis conocimientos del tiempo en que estuve siguiendo las instrucciones de ese libro.
My favorite face was the first one I drew, maybe because it is very neutral and simple, with all the elements well centered in a circle.
Mi rostro favorito fue el primero que dibujé, quizás porque es muy neutro y simple, con todos los elementos bien centrados en un círculo.
For the last page of the day I didn’t want to follow a theme, I just wanted to make small drawings within the stains. So I drew, and I’ll mention them in order: a school backpack with pencils in the pockets, a jar of carrot jam spilled on the floor (personal story), a bowl of noodles, an alien who loves Earth, and a big tree in the middle of the savannah. Done, this was my last sheet of the day.
Para la última página del día no quise seguir un tema, simplemente quise realizar pequeños dibujos dentro de las manchas. Así que dibujé, y lo menciono en orden: una mochila escolar con lápices en los bolsillos, un frasco de mermelada de zanahoria derramado en el suelo (historia personal), un tazón de noodles, un alien que ama la Tierra y un gran árbol en medio de la sabana. Listo, esta fue mi última hoja del día.
Here I will choose two favorites: first, the bowl of noodles—I love those spiral shapes, and then the tree, for which I used a rather simple method to draw it.
Aquí sí elegiré dos favoritos: primero el tazón de noodles, me encantan esas formas de espirales, y después el árbol, que utilicé un método bastante simple para hacerlo.
