Hoy estuve trabajando en un un diseño con temática sol y luna, tanto me gustó el resultado qu quise compartirlo con ustedes. El proceso me tomo varias horas, pues primero tuve que hacer una investigación para poder abarcar bien el tema, luego de realizada esta, empecé a crear un banco de imágenes que me sirvieran de fuente de inspiración (en este caso sobre la cultura mejicana). Tenía muchas cosas en mente pero tenía que irme por una sola composición, igual de un solo motivo se pueden crear miles más.

Estuve leyendo y observando imágenes por un largo tiempo hasta que consolidé una idea.

Primero busqué los materiales con los que iba a trabajar (lápiz, goma de borrar, papel blanco, compás y bolígrafo).

Me dispuse a trazar algunas líneas que me sirvieran de apoyo. También hice varias circunferencias (ocho en total) que me servirían mucho para dar la forma que necesitaba, ya de ese punto en adelante empecé a bocetar un girasol, algunas texturas e ir añadiendo detalles que me pedía el diseño.

Una vez ya listo con todo marcado a lápiz bien clarito continué reafirmando las líneas con un bolígrafo. Lo hice de afuera hacia adentro para evitar manchas o que se me ensuciara el dibujo antes realizado. Una vez ya repasadas las líneas con bolígrafo quedó mi dibujo (y es solo el boceto).

El siguiente paso sería vectorizar pero eso se los muestro más adelante. Este sería un pequeño motivo que dará paso más adelante a muchos más en la industria del diseño de patrones textiles(en este caso estampados) en el cual desempeño mi labor. Today I was working on a sun and moon themed design, I liked the result so much that I wanted to share it with you. The process took me several hours, because first I had to do some research to be able to cover the topic well, after this one was done, I started creating a bank of images that would serve as a source of inspiration (in this case about Mexican culture). I had many things in mind but I had to leave for a single composition, just like a single motif you can create thousands more.

I was reading and looking at images for a long time until I consolidated an idea.

First I looked for the materials I was going to work with (pencil, eraser, white paper, compass and pen).

I decided to draw some lines that would help me. I also made several circles (eight in total) that would be very useful for me to give the shape I needed, and from that point on I started sketching a sunflower, some textures and adding details that the design asked me.

Once ready with everything marked in pencil very clearly I continued reaffirming the lines with a pen. I did it from the outside to the inside to avoid stains or that the drawing made before would get dirty. Once the lines had been reviewed with a pen, my drawing remained (and that's just the sketch).

The next step would be to vectorize but I'll show you that later. This would be a small reason that will give way later to many more in the textile pattern design industry (in this case prints) in which I work. That was it, I hope you liked it, see you in the next post❤️.
