A few weeks ago bitcoin was $2700 USD but then it has dropped to $2300 losing $400 in value but not so long that Bitcoin is back now at its top having a value of $the 2707 USD.
Bitcoin market depends on the number of the transaction being happened and if we can do the same for steemit, we can increase steemit price to the price the whole steemit hopes to be.
