This week I publish a new entry in my series of posts about Antofagasta street art. I share photos of a relative recent mural located near the sea, in a wall of the breakwater of one of the city beaches. The sea at the background and the cloudy sky give an interesting frame for the painting. As you can see the thematic is of feminist nature, and it was painted in the same style of other murals of the city.
En esta semana una nueva publicación de mi serie sobre arte urbano de Antofagasta, les presento un mural relativamente reciente ubicado junto al mar, en una de las paredes del malecón del principal balneario, el cual le da un gran marco a la obra. Como pueden observar el tema de la pintura es de naturaleza feminista, y realizado en un estilo muy característico de la autora.
The photo was taken at the end of the afternoon and the light was not very good.
The camera used was a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the edition was done in Gimp. I show black and white versions of the images, since the surrounded space gives an interesting framework.
