El dueño de una tienda estaba colocando en la puerta un cartel que decía "cachorros en venta".
De pronto apareció un niño pequeño y le pregunto cuál es el precio de los perritos, el dueño le dijo que entre 30 y 40 dólares,el niño se metió la mano al bolsillo y muy triste se dio cuenta que solamente tenía 2,5$.

El hombre sonrió, tenía muy buen corazón y siempre ayudaba a los demás. Silbó y de la parte de atrás de la tienda salió una perra seguida de 4 cachorritos,uno de los cuales se quedó atrás.

El niño le preguntó si le pasaba algo a ese perrito. El hombre le dijo que tenía la cadera defectuosa y sería cojo toda la vida.

-Ese es el perrito que quiero para que sea mi compañero- dijo el pequeño niño con una tierna voz.

El hombre le dijo que si ese era el perro que quería se lo podía llevar sin pagar nada ya que era un regalo.

-Le doy lo que tengo porque creo que vale igual que cualquiera de los otros perritos- insistió el niño dejando su dinero sobre el mostrador.

-No creo que quieras ese perrito niño, no podrá correr,saltar y jugar como los otros- dijo sorprendido el hombre.

El niño se levantó el pantalón y le mostró su pierna izquierda, estaba retorcida e inutilizada, soportada con un gran aparato de metal.

-Bueno yo no puedo correr muy bien y el perrito necesita a alguien que lo entienda- dijo mientras se acomodaba su pantalón ocultando la prótesis.

-Ojalá los otros perritos consigan un dueño como tú- dijo el hombre conmovido con lágrimas en los ojos.

En la vida no importa quienes somos,sino que alguien nos precie por lo que somos,nos acepte y ame como somos.

The owner of a store was putting a sign on the door that said "puppies for sale ".
Suddenly a little boy appeared and asked him what the price of the puppies was, the owner told him between 30 and 40 dollars, the boy put his hand in his pocket and very sadly realized that he only had 2.5 dollars.

The man smiled, he had a good heart and always helped others. He whistled and out of the back of the store came a dog followed by 4 puppies, one of which stayed behind.

The boy asked him if there was something wrong with that puppy. The man told him it had a defective hip and would be lame for the rest of its life.

-That's the puppy I want to be my companion," said the little boy in a tender voice.

The man told him that if that was the dog he wanted he could take it without paying anything because it was a gift.

-I give him what I have because I think he is worth as much as any of the other dogs," insisted the boy, leaving his money on the counter.

-I don't think you want that little dog, he won't be able to run, jump and play like the others," said the man in surprise.

The boy lifted up his pants and showed him his left leg, it was twisted and useless, supported by a big metal brace.

-Well, I can't run very well and the little dog needs someone who understands him," he said as he adjusted his pants to hide the prosthesis.

-I hope the other dogs get an owner like you," said the man with tears in his eyes.

In life it doesn't matter who we are, but that someone appreciates us for who we are, accepts us and loves us as we are.
