Living in a concrete jungle I am always in search of green spots and any new flower that opens its petals.
Even though the gardens in front of the entrances are small, neighbours are looking after them. Some did good job, some just left the grass and weed to overtake the place. The local mayor initiated a competition for the best garden. This encourage the people to make the place a bit better looking.
Our entrance faces north and the block casts shadow for almost all the time. The flowers see little sunshine and still there are some that prefer the shady areas.
Few days ago a new flower was about to bloom. Firstly it was like a bell and then it spread its petals. When I looked closer there was a tiny creature.
And closer.
Flowers and insects. They cannot exist without each other.
