Winter is here without snow where I live. The sun deceives and makes us think that it is pretty and warm but thermometer shows minus 4°C and it is bloody cold. I thought I could make some photos without freezing to death, but being wrapped from head to toe with gloves it wasn't easy. Still I had few decent photos to show how the feathered friends managed to keep themselves warm.
As usual the sparrows were everywhere, just this time so puffed, they were like small feathered balls.
This one is my favourite. It looks double its size. If it wasn't puffed, you would think it is spring or summer sunny day.
The other one also puffed but the twig was just in front of it.
There are always bunch of sparrows in these shrubs, now bare without leaves.
Further down the park the dove was perching not very high.
There were other birds in the park, but my other photos I took that day were not good enough to post.
And since I have not played with the photo effects for quite some time, I thought to end with some edits of the above photos.
How about this mosaic?
Or the frosty image.

Edits made with Deep Dream Generator.
If I can believe the weather forecast, in the next days the temperature will go up and perhaps I will have better time for bird watching.
