Yesterday in the UK was a cold wet and windy day, certainly where I live anyway, but a friend and I had a shoot booked at an abandoned location on the outskirts of Sheffield with Charlie. The theme initially was Harley Quinn, but evolved into the Joker due to costume issues. This evolved again when the said costume of green suit and purple shirt didn't arrive, but still got some good shots..

The Obligatory Gelled Backlit shots with Smoke

Shot in a location I have used before this was a simple shot, backlit with an orange gel and a flash with a small softbox. Note to self, buy a bigger softbox to get a gentler focus..

Through the Looking Glass

The location we were in is scattered with windows, most with broken panes. There is also a number of broken walls which lend themselves to be sat on and leant through

Beware!

The final location was in front of a broken down doorway with hanging rubber blinds that had been grafittied over rather aptly "Beware." The Grafitti itself was white but with a flash in front pointing skyward and a purple / pink gel, it created an impromptu neon effect..
