I haven't posted any shots with Indy for a while. Admittedly I haven't actually shot with her for a number of years now which is a shame as she is a fantastic model.

Anyway below I have revisited some shots I took in Nottingham at a studio one Sunday morning. I have re-edited these for a more cinematic look..

American Beauty

If anyone remembers the movie poster / cover for this Kevin Spacey and Mena Suvari film, well I hope you see the inspiration..

Below is the movie poster, taken from Google images in case you need a reminder..

The Femme Fatale

While I have no-one specific in mind as inspiration for this, these images make me think of a Film Noir 1920's gangster theme where the leading lady of the movie is a singer in a smokey bar, and the gumshoe detective comes to her aid, only to find that she didn't need any rescuing in the first place..

And finally I remember this as the last shot of the day. While not movie related, its just a nice shot with the same preset added. Sometimes my reasoning is just that simple..

As a photographer I try to mix what I do in my shots, I've done still life, some macro work, lightpainting and I enjoy a good model shoot. If you'd like to check out any of my other work I'm on Facebook, or you can find me on Instagram under neilru75

Thanks very much for looking

Kind Regards, Neil
