Y después de leer las bases del concurso, y los diferentes estilos de artes y expresiones artísticas para hacer un trabajo que exprese la fuerza, emoción y espíritu de una carta, me dije. Claro que puedo hacer algo, un dibujo en photoshop. Es así como me anime a participar para este concurso que ya cuenta con su edición 250 como pueden ver en el siguiente enlace Source para todos aquellos que aún no se han unido. Y desde ya chicos quiero felicitar a todos los ganadores de la edición pasada y a todos los que participan en esta. El dibujo que hice está inspirado en la carta de Fight que es una tortuga humanizada, la cual cuando la vi por primera vez recode a Dónatelo y Miguel Ángel de las tortugas ninjas [Chiste]

And after reading the rules of the contest, and the different styles of arts and artistic expressions to make a work that expresses the strength, emotion and spirit of a letter, I said to myself. Mis amores, les cuento ahora como inicie todo. Para este dibujo lo trabaje en Photoshop en su versión de PC; y luego de abrir un nuevo archivo realice los primeros trazos o bocetos de Fight con la pluma. El delineado me llevo algo de tiempo pues dibujar con el ratón no es nada fácil aun cuando se modifican el estabilizador para una mejor precisión. Terminado el delineado, pase a aplicar color primeramente coloreando el caparazón con sus sombras y zonas luminosas. Después pase a dibujar poco a poco el resto aplicando, base, sombra y luces, aplicando una variedad de tonos más oscuros y claros, usando un método normal de mezcla que nos brinda photoshop.

For this drawing I worked in Photoshop in its PC version; and after opening a new file make the first few strokes or sketches of Fight with the pen. The outline took me some time because drawing with the mouse is not easy even when the stabilizer is modified for better precision. Finished the outline, go on to apply color by first coloring the shell with its shadows and bright areas. Then move on to little by little drawing the rest by applying, base, shadow and highlights, applying a variety of darker and lighter tones, using a normal blending method provided by photoshop.
Continue with the background, using a gradient of orange and yellow and then the Smudge Brush to recreate a textured background.
