On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

needleworkmonday | zero waste produce bag by @shanibeer

I am for everything that promotes zero waste and @shanibeer shows us how she does it with her versatile zero waste produce bag. She has been harvesting potatoes and onions from her very own garden. For the onions, she needed a storage that would allow circulation of air to prevent rotting. And that is where the idea of this beautiful zero waste produce bag sprouted. Embroidery Canvas for TreasureFinds and "Írásos" Enbroidery for NeedleworkMonday by @erikah

@erikah joins us for the first time this week as a promise to @crosheille and I am so glad she did. She shares a wonderful background story of some beautiful treasure finds of floral patterned table cloths. She also introduced us to a special embroidery called "Írásos" which is part of her heritage, continuing her grandmother's legacy and she shows us some of her WIPs. You must visit her post to learn more about "Írásos" and to see for yourself a beautiful piece that was completed by her grandmother.

Knitting for Babies: Tips by @fiberfrau

The best part about #NeedleWorkMonday is that we learn so much from everyone who shares their passion in this community. This week, @fiberfrau gives us tips on knitting for babies, touching on topics related to the yarn, the type of stitches and patterns, and finishing types that are suitable for babies.
