HOW I MADE A LOVELY NATIVE TOP.

This week, we have 2 talented needle artists, @monica-ene and @olubato sharing how to create smart tops, with smart necklines. Beautiful fabrics, neat stitches with cuffs and pockets. Both tutorials come with step-by-step photos which will inspire us to give this a try some day.

My Needlework Monday: Braided Mat From Scrap Strips

A mat she started five years ago using scrap strips from a project that some of us may remember. But the mat was kept away when it didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. @sarimanok was determined to fix it and this week, she did. The process is an interesting one that will surely trigger ideas in some of us on how best to use scraps.
