Desert like beach - Playa El Barco

Azua, Dominican Republic.

Here I bring you guys some images of my trips withing the Island.
In this trip our group went to the south side of the Island, where is mostly dry and hot weather and unlike the rest of the island with palm / coconut trees, this side has desert like vegetation and terrain.
Also I wanted to add that these areas are all only accessible by sea from the nearest local town witch is about 30 minutes boat ride.

As you will see on the picture, cactus, lizards and dry rocky terrain

This is the sad part about reality & pollution. I found plastics from local companies & all over the world washed in by the current.

NOTE: The small town is 30 minutes away and people rarely come to these areas.

The one unique thing I loved about this beach was the sound the waves pounding the rocks made, very relaxing sound.

I followed my little friend everywhere or was he?

I have no clue what this is. Feel free to tell me if you know in comments.

The last four images are from the departure side where the small town is.

Note: This beach isn't used for bathing since lots of fisher boats park here and a weird algae or brown sea weed grows everywhere and give it dirty look and feel.
