RE: Welcome to the DNC
The fact that people are calling for the DNC to #LetYangSpeak instead of taking political power into their own hands shows that they aren't ready to be free.

RE: Andrew Yang's Siren Song of Free Money Will Cost You Dearly
It's the inflation feedback loop that I think most people don't understand. Most people I've talked to about it understand that there will be taxes that "pay for" the distribution. But they haven't

RE: When do you think humans became civilized/intelligent?
The human brain hasn't changed substantially in at least 200,000 years. In terms of native intelligence, that has been the same since then. What has changed is the availability of information. This is

RE: Tokenization: Allowing Us To Buy Into Entities
You are right that steem-engine allows ways around the existing rules. This is one case though, where I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Wow, I had no idea tx fees went up to 3 USD recently. STEEM has had network congestion a couple of times, but it's been rare.

RE: A Stable-Coin That Gains 12% A Year.
I was talking about this in discord the other day. What people are trying to do with stable coins is create a money market fund. But reinventing the wheel to do so. What libra is doing is essentially the

Yes, I understand that you are trying to build a bridge of communication rather than yell at them :) I remember watching Jon Stewart in an interview (of him, not him interviewing someone else) and he made

I'm one of those who doesn't care about intentions. It doesn't matter that you are doing evil for what you think is a good cause. Everybody thinks they are doing the right thing. What matters is you are

Yes it's definitely time consuming. It took me about 2 hours last night to set it all up for one account.

Awesome, thanks! I envision these kinds of accounts as a key component to getting users on board. The key will be developing a bot that can automatically pay out rewards shares.

RE: And So It Begins: Steem-Engine Trading Bot Incoming
One of the issues with market making is directional moves. In equity markets the makers handle this with derivatives to keep their overall exposure market neutral. In steem-engine, we don't have that option.

RE: Five things Steem needs to make it more useful...
Private groups is tricky on a public blockchain. You need to come up with a way to encrypt the information and only allow approved users to have the decryption key(s). I agree with all of your points though.
