In today's world, everyone wants quick success.
We want our prayers answered immediately, our dreams fulfilled overnight, and our hard work rewarded instantly. Social media makes it seem as though everyone is achieving great things while we are still taking small steps.
I used to feel discouraged whenever I compared my progress with others.
Then I remembered something important: almost every great thing starts small.
A tree begins as a tiny seed.
A river begins as a small stream.
Even faith starts as a tiny spark in the heart.
There are moments when I look at where I am and wish I had achieved more. But then I remember how far God has already brought me.
The little progress I have made, the lessons I have learned, the doors that have opened, and even the challenges I have survived are all evidence that God is still working in my life.
Sometimes we pray for big blessings and ignore the small ones that are already in our hands.
The ability to wake up each morning is a blessing.
Having people who care about us is a blessing.
Being healthy enough to pursue our dreams is a blessing.
Even having hope for tomorrow is a blessing.
God often uses small beginnings to prepare us for greater things.
If we cannot appreciate the little things, we may fail to recognize the big blessings when they come.
Today, I choose to be grateful for every step of my journey, no matter how small it seems.
I may not be where I want to be yet, but I am certainly not where I used to be.
And for that, I give God all the glory.
Never despise your small beginnings. Keep praying, keep working, and keep trusting God. In His perfect time, those small seeds you are planting today will grow into something beautiful.
God is not finished with your story yet. β€οΈπ
