"Seek and you shall find" is one of the most powerful promises in Scripture. It reminds us that God is not hiding from us. Rather, He invites us to pursue Him with sincere hearts.
There was a time in my life when I was searching for answers. I wanted to know my purpose, understand why certain things were happening, and find peace amid uncertainty. I prayed, but sometimes it felt as though my prayers were hitting the ceiling and coming back unanswered.
In those moments, I was tempted to give up. I wondered if God was listening at all.
However, I later realized that seeking God is not a one-time event; it is a journey. Sometimes we expect immediate answers, but God often uses the waiting season to strengthen our faith and teach us patience.
The more I sought Him through prayer, reading His Word, and spending quiet moments in reflection, the more I began to notice His presence in my life. The answers did not always come in the way I expected, but they came at the right time.
I found peace where there had been anxiety.
I found hope where there had been disappointment.
I found strength where there had been weakness.
Most importantly, I found a deeper relationship with God.
Seeking God does not mean we will never face challenges. It means we will never face them alone. When we genuinely seek Him, we discover that He has been with us all along, guiding our steps even when we could not see the path ahead.
Today, whenever I encounter difficulties, I remind myself of this simple truth: if I continue to seek God with all my heart, I will find Him.
The promise remains the same today as it was thousands of years ago.
Seek, and you shall find.
Thank you for reading.
Matthew 7:7
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."
