There have been moments in my life when I felt like I was standing over the edge of something uncertain.
Not a physical edge, but the kind that appears when life becomes overwhelming. The edge between giving up and trying one more time. The edge between fear and courage.
I remember a period when nothing seemed to work the way I planned. Every effort felt wasted, and every setback felt heavier than the last. It was easy to believe that I had reached my limit.
But standing over the edge taught me something important.
Sometimes the edge is not the end. Sometimes it is simply a place where we pause, look down at our fears, and realize that we are stronger than we thought.
The strange thing about difficult moments is that they force us to discover parts of ourselves we never knew existed. Patience. Resilience. Hope.
Looking back now, I am grateful I didn't let fear push me over the edge. Instead, I took one small step back, caught my breath, and kept moving forward.
Life still presents challenges, and there are days when the edge appears again. But now I know that being close to the edge doesn't mean falling. Sometimes it means growing.
And often, the view from the edge helps us see how far we have already come.
