There is no universal and clear answer to this question, or rather there is, but very vague: to do what the soul is in. Therefore, the answer is a little more detailed and structured.

Do not rush to choose a profession

I read somewhere that in the modern world it is better for people under 30 years old not to rush to make cardinal decisions, including the choice of a future specialty. I won't say about 30, but under 25, many are really looking for themselves. Not because they are lazy, but simply before this age, our consciousness and psyche are still forming. Accordingly, making a conscious decision that being a lawyer or a neuroscientist is mine is very difficult.

Try yourself in different directions

It just seems that we know what we want. In fact, our desires are inspired by life experiences, both personal and those of our environment. And then, in practice, it sometimes turns out that a business or specialty that seemed "one's own" gradually turns into a burden.

Therefore, it is very important not to be afraid to try yourself in other directions and always be open to something new. Since only through trial and error we learn what really becomes "our" business, and what - only a forced measure of making money.

There is a lot of talk about the fact that it is better to be wrong than to do nothing. But mistakes can also be different, therefore, when trying yourself in different directions, it is very important to proceed from the real state of affairs.

Deal with the financial issue

Another important point when people choose their own business is the issue of earnings. If such an activity belongs to the category of a hobby, then there is no need to bother. But if you want to earn money on your favorite business, you need to decide on their size.

Having realized this, it will be easier to look at different options for action. Because when we want to try ourselves in something new, very often we restrain ourselves with the thesis: "You won't make a lot of money on this." And this prevents you from finding the very thing that you can do your whole life. For example, many perceive the Internet as a place for small and fickle earnings. This is true, but with the right approach, diligence and a certain amount of luck, you can earn more regularly and more than auditors in offices.
