This Painting Looks Like Good vs. Evil, But It’s Really About the Prison We All Live In
BODY:
This is my latest work. I call it "AZ-ZINZANA" (The Prison).
Why this name?
Because I believe a human being is never truly free. He is a prisoner for his entire life, locked in an eternal cell between two opposing forces. This painting is that cell.
At first glance, you will see a man torn between a demon and God, between the 7 deadly sins and the 7 heavenly virtues. But there is a much deeper story hidden within.
I will not reveal everything. I will only share two secrets with you:
Secret 1: The Hands
Look closely at his hands. One hand is touching the light, while the other is not being touched by the demon. This is because our connection to God is bound by prayer and worship — it is an unbreakable rope. As for the devil, he never truly holds you; you are the one holding onto him, and at any moment, you can let go.
Secret 2: The Direction of the Face
His face is turned toward the light. Because a righteous person always looks toward the light, even when darkness tries to pull him away.
There are 5 more secrets hidden in this painting. Can you find them?
