Friends, today is my last day in Shrikhand Kailash. As I told you all in my previous blog how I reached Shrikhand Kailash Base Camp Majbon from Fancha Kanda. Whose link I am sharing below.

So friends, today is our 4th and last day in Shrikhand Kailash. After wandering in these valleys yesterday, we slept very well. In the morning we wake up late. There is light fog in the mountains above and good sunshine in the valleys below. We start climbing Shrikhand Kailash from the base camp at nine in the morning. Many colorful flowers are blooming in the valleys here, these flowers are giving a strong fragrance. We have left all our belongings at the base camp itself. We have brought only camera, water and dry fruits with us. After walking one kilometer ahead of the base camp, we reach a very beautiful place. Barmhakamal (Saussurea obvallata) flowers are planted in this entire valley. I have never seen so many barmhakamal (Saussurea obvallata) flowers before. There are many other flowers blooming here. We sit here for some time and admire these beautiful valleys. The views are so beautiful that it is difficult for me to describe them in words. We drink water from the stream flowing between these flowers and continue our journey.
The climb is steep and due to lack of oxygen our walking speed slows down. Finally we reach the place where the road of District Kullu and District Shimla meets. Now we are at a very high altitude. It seems as if we are walking above the clouds. This is a different feeling and a different world. I come here every year to see these views.
Now we move towards Shrikand Kailash at a very slow pace. While walking we reach Bhim Bai.

There are very big stones lying here and some of these stones have carvings on them. It is said that Bheem has written something on these stones. These stones are scattered here like pages. I click some pictures here and continue my journey. After walking a little, we could see Shrikhand Kailash Shivling. All my tiredness goes away as soon as I see Shivling. After crossing a small glacier, we reach Shrikhand Kailash.
Everything is visible from here, it seems as if we are standing at the highest place in the world. The clouds are below us and we are above the clouds. We spend some time in this peaceful environment. We see the Himalaya range visible in front, how huge the mountains are. I take pictures of these valleys and mountains.
After admiring these beautiful mountains for two hours, we start walking back towards Fancha village.
Now we have to descend till Fancha village. Due to which our walking speed had increased. We soon reach the base camp, have food, pack our things and reach back to Fancha village by evening. As soon as we reached Fancha, it started raining heavily. We took a taxi to Rampur and reached Rampur in two hours.
The next day I saw in the news that due to heavy rain at night, there was a landslide near Shrikhand Kailash and clouds also burst at some places. Due to the cloud burst, the Samaje village here has been completely washed away. Many people of this village are still missing. The search and rescue team is still searching for them.
