River God is the first book in the Egyptian series of books by Wilbur Smith and is one of my favorite book series. The Courtney series by him is equally fascinating but the fact that we have Pharaoh's in this one gives it an added boost in my opinion.
I had previously read River God and few other from the series upto Warlock however I intend to complete the series this time till the last book and so had purchased a paperback copy of this one to start the series.
